In a sport dominated by middle-aged drivers and seasoned racing veterans, Barry Blue is one of the fastest rookies of the time. In 2005 at the age of 19, he was the youngest Unlimited Class 1 driver/owner on the circuit. Then he won his first off-road race as a rookie in 2005 at the CODE Jacume Grand Prix in Baja. He has now competed in seven races and placed 1st, 5th, 6th, 23rd, and 3rd, respectively, in the five races he completed.

Barry is quickly gaining the desert racing community's attention and respect, establishing himself as an up and coming force on the Class 1 circuit. In 2007, he began racing events sanctioned by SCORE International, the world's premier racing organization. Remarkably, Barry's accomplishments have come with limited sponsorship to defray the operating costs of his racing team. His immediate goals are to continue to rack up podium finishes and build solid sponsorship support for the upcoming racing season. Barry will be focusing his energies in 2008 on preparing to test his race vehicles in MDR races in Southern California, to get ready for a full season of racing in Best In The Desert in 2009.
